Twilio
Connect a Twilio Elastic SIP Trunk to Callina.
Twilio Elastic SIP Trunking is the simplest way to bring an existing Twilio number into Callina — pay-as-you-go, no commitment.
Step 1 — Twilio side
- In the Twilio Console → Elastic SIP Trunking, create a new trunk.
- Under Termination, set the Termination URI to the host shown in Callina → Settings → SIP → Twilio.
- Add the Callina IPs to the IP Access Control List.
- Optional: enable Credential Lists for password auth.
- Under Origination, set the Origination URI to your Callina SIP endpoint.
- Associate your DIDs with the trunk.
Step 2 — Callina side
In Callina → Settings → SIP:
- Provider: Twilio.
- Paste the Termination URI, credentials.
- Save.
Step 3 — Test
Call your Twilio number — Anna answers in under 3 seconds.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| 401/403 on register | Confirm IP ACL + Credential List both attached to the trunk |
| Calls drop after 30s | Disable Twilio's "Disable PII logging" if it interferes with INVITE |
| Outbound calls rejected | Add a billing-ready credit balance and verify the trunk is active |
