Telnyx
Connect a Telnyx SIP trunk to Callina.
Telnyx is a modern SIP/CPaaS provider with a clean static-trunk model — Callina supports it natively.
Step 1 — Telnyx side
- In Telnyx Mission Control → SIP Trunking, create a new SIP Connection (FQDN type).
- Note the connection's SIP URI (e.g.
your-trunk.sip.telnyx.com). - Under Authentication & Routing, choose Credentials and create a username + password.
- Add the Callina source IPs to the IP allowlist (shown in Callina → Settings → SIP → Telnyx).
- Assign your phone number(s) to this connection.
Step 2 — Callina side
In Callina → Settings → SIP:
- Provider: Telnyx.
- Paste SIP URI, username, password.
- Save. Callina registers within ~10 seconds.
Step 3 — Test
Call your Telnyx number — Anna should answer in under 3 seconds.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| 403 on register | Check the IP allowlist on the SIP connection |
| One-way audio | Enable RTP packet shaping on the connection (default OK) |
| No DTMF detected | Set DTMF type to RFC 2833 on the connection |
