Placetel
Connect a Placetel hosted PBX to Callina via SIP trunk.
Placetel is one of the most-deployed cloud PBX systems in Germany. Setup with Callina takes about 15 minutes if you already have admin access.
Step 1 — Create a SIP trunk in Placetel
- In Placetel admin (
my.placetel.de), go to Anschlüsse → SIP-Anschlüsse → Neuen Anschluss anlegen. - Type: Endgeräteanschluss (device account).
- Note the SIP login (
<id>@<tenant>.sip.placetel.de) and the auto-generated password.
Step 2 — Configure Callina
In Callina → Settings → SIP:
- Provider: Placetel.
- SIP server:
sip.placetel.de(or the server URL shown in your account). - Username + password from step 1.
- Codec: G.711 PCMA (Placetel default).
Step 3 — Route a DID to the trunk
In Placetel admin → Rufnummern → Routing, point the DID you want Anna to answer at the new SIP login.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| 403 on REGISTER | Confirm the trunk is enabled and your tenant has spare SIP-channel capacity |
| Audio drops after 30s | Disable SIP ALG on your firewall — Placetel docs are explicit about this |
| Caller ID is missing | Enable "P-Asserted-Identity" in Placetel routing settings |
