peoplefone

Connect a peoplefone SIP trunk (Switzerland, Austria, Germany) to Callina.

peoplefone is a Swiss-based SIP trunk provider widely used in DACH SMB and Hospitality. Setup with Callina takes about 10 minutes.

Step 1 — Order a SIP trunk in peoplefone

  1. In the peoplefone customer portal, order a SIP-Trunk Business (or higher).
  2. Note the trunk credentials sent by email (SIP user, password, registrar URL).
  3. Optional: order a DID block if you don't already have numbers attached.

Step 2 — Configure Callina

In Callina → Settings → SIP:

  1. Provider: peoplefone.
  2. SIP server: typically sip.peoplefone.{country-code} (e.g. sip.peoplefone.ch).
  3. Username + password from the email.
  4. Add Callina's egress IPs to the peoplefone allowlist (visible in Settings → SIP → IP allowlist).

Step 3 — Route calls

In peoplefone's portal, route the chosen DID to your new trunk. Test by calling — Anna answers in under 3 seconds.
